The North Carolina state constitution “requires that all children have the opportunity for a sound basic education.” Family and community advocates are the key ingredient for developing effective policies that will make this promise a reality.

NCCARE encourages community advocacy by providing trainings, forums, research, technical assistance and organizational support to our members. Our informed and engaged members work individually and collectively to hold schools and the State accountable for the educational outcomes of all students in North Carolina.
