The mission of NCCARE is to ensure that the children of North Carolina receive the sound basic education to which they are entitled under our state constitution so that they may fully participate in the intellectual, technological, and political complexities of the 21st century.

To reform our current system of school finance to reflect a school funding formula based on principles of adequacy and equity.

To eliminate the achievement gap.
